Measurements of Progress, San Diego Art Institute, 2021
AND WE WILL SING IN THE TALL GRASS AGAIN: postcolonial futurities at the end of gender, The Front, San Diego, 2021

This video installation depicts a matrixial borderspace in which the womb, the mouth, the ear, and the navel serve as portals to all things Other. The bestial sexuality of a reptilian goddess archetype unleashes the song that has been buried in matter since the beginning of the universe. Animal, vegetal, and mineral coalesce using the mud of the planet as moisturizer.
